The Crown Commercial Service selects Internet Videocommunications as a video conferencing supplier on the prestigious Tier 1 national government framework contract running to August 2022.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has put in place a government-wide collaborative agreement for the provision of telecommunications services to be utilised by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies including, but not limited to, NHS bodies, local authorities, police and charities. CCS is the largest public procurement organisation in the UK and plays an important role in helping the UK public sector save money when buying goods and services.  Last year alone CCS helped 17,000 buyers save £601m of public money using CCS commercial agreements providing the best commercial deals in the interests of taxpayers.

The prestigious framework serves to put public sector buyers in touch with innovative and experienced suppliers and, after an intensive selection process lasting over 6 months, Internet Videocommunications has been awarded supplier status for the provision of video conferencing hardware, associated audio-visual hardware and wraparound implementation and support services.

To achieve this, Internet Videocommunications has exceeded all quality thresholds, demonstrating the full strength and breadth of its solutions and services portfolio. Every aspect of Internet Videocommunications’ service operations has been scrutinised and assessed, endorsing the company’s status as a leading videoconferencing provider in the UK. The assessment criteria covered areas such as value for money, technical expertise and service delivery, whilst also placing great emphasis on health and safety credentials and safe working methodologies. Consequently, all public sector buyers can be assured that they have access to a high-quality provider who is ideally placed to address their videoconferencing and audio-visual requirements in the years ahead.

This award further cements Internet Videocommunications’ position as an industry leader, especially when seen in the context of the company’s other significant successes in recent times, such as the two NHS framework awards from the Countess of Chester and NHS Shared Business Services. These significant milestones rubber stamp Internet Videocommunications as the go-to provider of videoconferencing and audio-visual solutions and services. The company continues to extend its unrivalled reputation as a trusted adviser across a raft of sectors, delivering service excellence, world-class expertise and value for money.
